Reasons
to Join
Unlike other workplaces, full union membership
is not automatic at public institutions. You have to sign an application to
belong to and participate in the Faculty Federation.
Only members have a say in what the contract is about. Members fill out surveys
to direct our issues and priorities. Members receive updates on the union's e-mail
list and through our newsletter and can attend meetings to discuss action items.
